  1. I am totally in awe of your outstanding ink work. Judging it just on a technical level, it is brilliant but your imagination and realisation of images makes you a very special talent indeed.
I love the way that your images are reminiscent of Burns, Crumb and Japanese horror but at the same time create a unique style that is all your own.
Thank you so very much for sharing them.

    • Thank you very much :) and yes japanese erotica, or horror… which sometimes mixes I guess (thinking of all the hentai with monsters and tentacles). I like to draw things that make people a bit uncomfortable… which makes me uncomfortable afterwards!
I love science fiction, especially stuff from the 60’s, where you still have that mix between sexy and creepy!

  2. So, well, I just finished a stroll through your blog, and I think it’s really fun. I love your artstyle and the coloring is also quite fantastic. Of course, the stuff you draw is rather disturbing at times, but I don’t believe that to be a negative quality.

Still, I’m curious, what are your inspirations and influences? Fine art? Comics? I sort of see bits of Charles Burns in your art, and probably HR Giger in content, but how do you see it?

    • Thank you!!
You got it all right, Burns, Giger, and also Crumb like killkaties said. When I was a kid, I used to read my parents’ comics (which I was definitely not supposed to read). They had a lot of manara, enki bilal, and lots of other things which were definitely not for children :p
I remember being a little scared, a little disgusted (most of thoses comics were pretty gory and/or very kinky) but extremely fascinated by the talent of these guys.
Aaaand I’ve been kinda copying them since then, hoping that at some point, I can manage to do my own thing!

      • Ah, yes, that’s the massive plus of being French – a hundred of Métal Hurlant issues to get your mind transformed and stretched in interesting ways.

Thanks for the answer, and I’d say you’re way above just copying them. Your own originality is definitely there too.
